  • Surface newsletter
  • Press releases
  • List in Internet directories
  • E-mail

I know this is a long list and a number of things might not apply to your project. I included just about everything one should know before planning or re-designing the actual site.

The "biggie" of the whole thing is CONTENT. You have to have something worthwhile for the visitor to take away - On-site articles, do-it-yourself information, news about the service or product area you are promoting, useful links to associated or affiliate websites, etc.


If your website hasn't got the right stuff under the hood, you don't stand a chance of winning the race!
