Empowering Website Owners

"Let's empower website owners!" says William Stocking, self proclaimed "Director of User Experience" and one of the founders of WebsiteRevamp.org.  Bill announced that his group of independent Internet specialists has been developing websites which can be maintained, for the most part, by owners of those sites.

"I've thought for a long time that it really didn't make much sense to develop websites that couldn't be maintained by their owners.  Success on the Internet requires moving fast, and traditionally small business have been left behind. 

"Two years ago I decided it was time to change that because good quality, easy-to-use and inexpensive website CMS's (Content Management Systems) were beginning to become available.  Some of that technology, while promising, just wasn't quite 'ready for prime time.'  Within the last 6 to 8 months things have changed."

"Web portals with CMS are not just for larger companys anymore.  Portal echnology is now both available and affordable for small businesses and business professionals such as consultants, lawyers, accounts, coaches, etc."  Mr. Stocking said.
